Touch laser
CLEAR + BRILLIANT TOUCH LASER
The Clear + Brilliant laser targets the earliest signs of skin aging and uneven tone. The Touch handpiece works through precise micro-treatment zones that encourage the skin to renew itself, replacing tired-looking tissue with a fresher, healthier appearance.
While individual outcomes can differ, many patients notice smoother, more youthful skin and a visible glow following their sessions.

Rejuvenated, Brighter Skin
about clear+ brilliant
Clear + Brilliant Touch creates thousands of microscopic treatment zones in the skin’s upper layers, prompting the body to replace tired, damaged tissue with fresher, healthier-looking skin. The device uses Intelligent Optical Tracking® technology to ensure even, consistent contact across the entire treatment area.
This treatment is ideal for anyone looking to get ahead of early aging signs or maintain a youthful glow, and is suitable at any age, whether addressing sun damage and environmental effects or simply preserving skin’s current condition. It can often be combined with other treatments like fillers, Thermage, or Botox at the provider’s discretion, and is also a great option for those who’ve had corrective laser treatments and want to protect and extend those results.
Clear + Brilliant Touch is non-surgical, requires no injections, and is fast and effective. It’s fully customizable to different skin types and concerns, delivering noticeable results with little to no downtime.
The treatment creates thousands of microscopic renewal zones in the skin’s outer layers, encouraging the body to naturally replace tired, damaged tissue with fresh, healthy-looking skin. A built-in optical tracking system ensures the laser makes consistent, even contact across the entire treated area.
Every visit begins with a quick consultation to confirm the treatment is right for your skin that day. A numbing cream can be applied beforehand if you’d like extra comfort. From there, your provider guides the handpiece across the target area, with the full appointment taking around 30-45 minutes and active treatment time closer to 15-20 minutes.
Downtime is minimal to none for most patients. It’s common to see some redness or mild swelling right after treatment, which typically settles down within 12 to 24 hours. A few people also notice temporary dryness, itching, or sensitivity, but these effects are short-lived.
Many patients notice smoother, brighter-looking skin within one to two weeks of a single session. For more visible, longer-lasting improvement, results tend to build after a series of 4 to 6 treatments.
There’s no one-size-fits-all number. Your provider will recommend a plan based on your skin’s specific goals. Some people see a difference after just one session, while others prefer ongoing treatments as part of ongoing skin maintenance.
Results can last for several months, though this varies depending on factors like age, skin condition, and how consistently you protect your skin from sun and environmental damage afterward.
It’s a great option for anyone, at virtually any age, looking to get ahead of early aging signs or simply maintain a healthy, youthful glow. Whether your skin shows the early effects of sun exposure and lifestyle, or you just want to protect the skin you already love, this treatment can help.
Yes. Clear + Brilliant Touch often pairs well with other procedures like dermal fillers, Botox, or Thermage, depending on your provider’s recommendation. It’s also a great way to protect and extend results if you’ve previously had corrective laser treatments.

How much does Clear + Brilliant cost?
Price is the first thing most people want to know, and the honest answer is that it depends on a few things: how much area you are treating, whether you book a single session or a series, and what you combine it with. A face-only session is priced differently from face and neck, and a package of four to six treatments usually works out lower per session than booking them one at a time.
We do not print a fixed number here, because quoting a price without seeing your skin would be guesswork. Your consultation is complimentary. Your provider looks at your skin, you agree on a plan together, and you get the exact price for that plan before anything is booked. If a shorter or less expensive option would get you the result you are after, we will say so.
Clear + Brilliant recovery, day by day
Recovery is short, but it is not invisible, and nobody likes a surprise on day three. Here is what patients most often describe. Your experience may differ, and your provider will tell you what to expect for your skin.
The first few hours
Your skin looks flushed, a little like mild sunburn, and feels warm. That usually settles within a few hours. Some swelling is normal, especially around the eyes and after a first session.
Day one and two
The redness fades. Skin can feel tight, dry, and slightly rough to the touch. Makeup is generally fine at this stage, though plenty of people prefer to skip it for a day.
Day three to five
This is the stage nobody warns you about, and it is completely normal. The treated skin takes on a fine, sandpaper-like texture as the treated cells work their way to the surface, and some people notice a light bronzed look. It is tempting to scrub or pick. Do not. It sheds on its own within a couple of days, and that shedding is the treatment doing its job.
Week one and after
Once the rough phase passes, the new surface underneath is the reason you came: smoother, brighter, more even. Many patients see it clearly between one and two weeks. Deeper change in tone and texture builds across a series, which is why providers often plan four to six sessions spaced a few weeks apart.
How to protect your results afterward
Your provider gives you aftercare instructions matched to your skin and the settings used. For most patients they look something like this.
- Keep your routine simple for a few days: a gentle cleanser and a plain moisturizer, and nothing with acids, retinoids, or scrubs until your provider clears it.
- Sunscreen every morning, no exceptions. Fresh skin burns easily, and sun exposure is the fastest way to undo the result.
- Skip the sauna, hot yoga, and long hot showers for the first day or two. Heat makes flushing worse.
- Let the flaking finish on its own. No scrubbing, no picking.
- Call your clinic if anything looks off. Blistering, spreading redness, or real pain is not part of a normal recovery.
Clear + Brilliant compared with our other skin treatments
Clear + Brilliant is not automatically the right answer, and it is worth knowing where it sits next to the other treatments we offer.
Clear + Brilliant or microneedling?
Both work by creating controlled micro-injury so the skin rebuilds itself. Microneedling uses fine needles and reaches deeper, which makes it the stronger choice for texture, acne scarring, and firmness. Clear + Brilliant uses light, stays closer to the surface, and is the better fit for tone, brightness, and staying ahead of early aging with less recovery.
Clear + Brilliant or a chemical peel?
A chemical peel exfoliates across the whole surface at once. Clear + Brilliant is fractional, meaning it leaves untreated skin between each treated zone, and that untouched skin is what makes recovery quicker. Peels are often a sensible, lower-cost place to start; the laser tends to give more consistent, repeatable results over a series.
Clear + Brilliant or BroadBand Light?
BroadBand Light is light-based but not fractional, and it works by targeting color: brown spots and redness. If visible sun damage and flushing are your main complaint, BBL is often the better first step. If it is overall dullness, rough texture, and the first fine lines, Clear + Brilliant fits better. Many patients end up using both across a longer plan.
Is Clear + Brilliant right for your skin?
It is a good match if your skin looks duller or rougher than it used to, the first fine lines are showing, and you want to get ahead of it without disappearing for a week. It also works well as maintenance after a stronger corrective laser, protecting results you have already paid for.
It is not the right tool for everything. Deep wrinkles, significant laxity, and deep scarring need something different or stronger, and we would rather tell you that at the consultation than sell you six sessions that will not get you there. If firmness is the real concern, Ultherapy is usually the more honest recommendation.
Skin tone and pigmentation
Fractional lasers are used across a wide range of skin tones, but the possibility of temporary pigment change is real, and it is higher in deeper tones and in skin prone to melasma. That is a conversation with your provider rather than a box to tick online. They will review your skin type, your history with pigmentation, your medications, and any recent sun exposure before recommending settings, or before recommending something else entirely.
More questions about Clear + Brilliant
Does Clear + Brilliant hurt?
Most patients describe it as warm and prickly rather than painful. A numbing cream applied beforehand makes it comfortable for nearly everyone, and the active treatment is only around 15-20 minutes.
What type of laser is Clear + Brilliant?
It is a low-energy fractional diode laser. The platform runs at two wavelengths depending on the handpiece fitted: 1440 nm, which concentrates on texture and early signs of aging, and 1927 nm, which works more on tone and pigment. Your provider will confirm which handpiece is available at your location and which suits your goals.
How is Clear + Brilliant Touch different from the original device?
Touch is the newer platform. Its larger handpiece covers more surface with each pass, which makes treating the face plus the neck or chest practical in a single visit rather than across two.
Can I wear makeup after a session?
Usually from the next day, and sometimes the same evening, though your provider may ask you to wait longer depending on how your skin reacts. When you do go back to makeup, clean brushes and a light hand are worth the effort.
How long should I leave between sessions?
A few weeks is typical, so the skin completes its renewal cycle before the next pass. Your provider sets the spacing based on your skin and your goals, and there is no benefit to rushing it.
