Looking for a medspa in San Antonio? Esthetica Medspa San Antonio is at 1205 N Loop 1604 W, Suite 232, San Antonio, TX 78258, in the Stone Oak/1604 area. We are a Texas-licensed medical spa staffed by board-certified providers, and we focus on three things our patients ask for most: injectables, laser hair removal and non-surgical body contouring. This page walks you through everything you need to plan a first visit — what we treat, who treats you, our hours, how to get to us and what your free consultation looks like.

Why patients in San Antonio choose Esthetica Medspa

San Antonio has dozens of clinics that call themselves a medspa, but the differences are real. A true medical spa works under physician oversight, runs medical-grade devices, and uses pharmaceutical-grade injectables that only licensed clinicians can administer. We are part of the Esthetica Medspa group, with seven locations across the U.S., so the protocols you receive in San Antonio are the same ones we use in our Tampa, Bellevue and Louisville clinics — and we share continuing-education across providers each quarter.

What that means for you: consistent treatment plans, transparent pricing, and after-visit support that doesn’t disappear once you leave the room. We work in a consultative way. If we don’t think a treatment is right for your skin type, your hair type or your goals, we’ll say so and recommend what is.

Treatments we offer at our San Antonio clinic

Our 1604 W location is a full-service medspa. The four most-requested categories are:

  • Injectables — Botox, Dysport and Xeomin for wrinkle relaxation; Juvéderm, Restylane, Radiesse and Sculptra for dermal fillers (cheeks, lips, jawline, temples). Visit our Botox in San Antonio guide for treatment-area pricing.
  • Laser hair removal — Diode and Nd:YAG platforms suitable for Fitzpatrick I–VI skin types. We treat face, underarms, bikini, Brazilian, legs and back. See our complete laser hair removal guide for how sessions work.
  • Body contouring — CoolSculpting Elite for non-surgical fat reduction on flanks, abdomen, inner/outer thighs, submental (“double chin”), bra fat and back. We pair it with skin-tightening when needed.
  • Skin & facials — HydraFacial, chemical peels, microneedling and pico-laser pigment correction. Our HydraFacial San Antonio page covers protocols and recovery.

Every first visit starts with a consultation: skin analysis, a review of your medical history, a discussion of realistic results and a written quote. There is no pressure to book.

Treatments by patient profile

Different goals lead to different treatment plans. These are the most common patient profiles we see at our San Antonio clinic and what we typically recommend:

  • Patient in her 20s — “prevent and maintain”. Light Botox in the forehead and around the eyes (often called “baby Botox”), HydraFacial monthly, and a laser hair removal series for underarms or Brazilian. Total annual investment ranges roughly $1,500–$3,000.
  • Patient in her 30s — “refresh after the first signs”. Botox in three areas every three to four months, one to two syringes of filler in cheeks and lips, and seasonal HydraFacial or microneedling. Total annual investment ranges roughly $3,500–$6,000.
  • Patient in her 40s — “correct and recontour”. Botox plus filler plan for midface restoration, CoolSculpting for stubborn flank or abdomen, Sculptra for global volume. Total annual investment ranges roughly $6,000–$12,000.
  • Patient in her 50s and beyond — “restore and tighten”. A combination plan with Sculptra, microneedling with radiofrequency for skin laxity, targeted filler and Botox, and pico-laser for sun damage. Total annual investment ranges roughly $7,000–$15,000.
  • Patient on GLP-1 weight loss medication. Volume restoration with filler and Sculptra after the weight plateau (see our companion piece on dermal fillers for Ozempic face).
  • Male patient. Botox in the forehead and glabella, jawline definition with filler, laser hair removal for the back or beard area, and CoolSculpting for the chin and flanks.

None of these plans is fixed. Your consultation builds the version that fits your goals and your budget.

What to bring to your first visit

To make the consultation efficient and accurate, please bring or have ready:

  • A valid government ID.
  • A list of current medications, including supplements (fish oil, vitamin E, herbal remedies) — some of them affect bruising risk for injectables.
  • A short note on your medical history: any chronic condition, prior aesthetic treatments (when and what), any history of cold sores or hyperpigmentation, and any allergies.
  • Photographs of yourself from one to three years ago if you have them. They help us calibrate what “feeling like yourself again” means for you.
  • A clear face: ideally no heavy makeup so we can examine the skin properly. We can remove it on site if needed.
  • Realistic expectations and the time to ask questions. We block 30–45 minutes so we are never rushed.

Bring a friend or partner if it helps you process the conversation. Many patients do.

Pricing, financing and your first-visit consultation

Pricing depends on the treatment, the area treated and the number of sessions you need. As a guideline, here are typical starting prices at our San Antonio clinic — your written quote during the consultation will be exact.

Treatment Starting price (per session) Typical course
Botox / Dysport / Xeomin $13 per unit 20–60 units, every 3–4 months
Juvéderm / Restylane filler $650 per syringe 1–3 syringes; touch-ups at 9–18 months
Laser hair removal — underarms $99 6–8 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart
Laser hair removal — Brazilian $199 6–8 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart
CoolSculpting — one cycle $750 2–4 cycles per treatment area
HydraFacial $199 Single session; monthly maintenance optional

Memberships and package bundles reduce per-session pricing, especially on laser hair removal series and CoolSculpting multi-cycle plans. We accept Cherry and Care Credit for financing, and HSA/FSA cards are welcome for eligible treatments. The consultation itself is free.

Who treats you — providers and credentials

Every injectable at our San Antonio clinic is administered by a nurse practitioner or registered nurse under the supervision of our medical director. Laser hair removal is performed by certified laser technicians who have completed device-specific training on every platform we run. Energy-based and laser treatments follow Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation requirements for medical-grade aesthetic devices.

This is the part that distinguishes a real medical spa from a beauty bar: medical oversight, written protocols and emergency procedures in place. If you have a chronic condition, take blood thinners, are pregnant or are breastfeeding, your consultation will flag what is — and isn’t — appropriate for you right now.

Our safety protocols at the 1604 W location

Safety is the part of the work patients rarely see, and it is the part we take most seriously. At our San Antonio location:

  • Every injector is licensed in Texas and continues clinical education every quarter.
  • Every laser session begins with a tone test on first-time patients with Fitzpatrick IV–VI skin, and the parameters are recorded in your chart for the entire series.
  • On-site hyaluronidase is available at all times for hyaluronic acid filler complications.
  • Single-use needles and cannulas only. Pharmaceutical-grade products are stored under controlled temperature and tracked by lot number in your chart.
  • Written consent for every procedure, with before-and-after photographs added to your file at each visit so we can measure progress.
  • Post-treatment check-ins at 24 hours and at one week, by text or phone, for any visit involving injectables or laser.

If any side effect is outside what we explained at the consultation, we ask you to call us before doing anything else. We coordinate with local dermatology and emergency physicians when needed, and we cover those costs in the rare instance they apply.

What our San Antonio patients say

We earn most of our new patients through word of mouth. The most common feedback we hear:

  • “They explained what filler would and wouldn’t do for me — and talked me out of more than I needed.”
  • “Booking is easy and the team actually follows up after the appointment.”
  • “They run a consult before every laser hair removal series, even if you’ve been treated before — that’s reassuring.”

You can read recent reviews on our Google Business Profile for the San Antonio location.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be a current patient to book?

No. Most of our first-time patients come in for a consultation before any treatment. We block 30–45 minutes for that visit, and you leave with a written plan and a quote.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. There is no charge and no obligation to book a treatment that same day. We’d rather you take the plan home and think about it.

How far in advance should I book?

For consultations and Botox visits, one to two weeks. For longer treatments such as CoolSculpting or a multi-area laser session, two to three weeks is typical. Saturdays book out fastest.

Do you treat patients with darker skin tones?

Yes. For laser hair removal on Fitzpatrick IV–VI we use Nd:YAG 1064 nm wavelength, which targets pigment in the hair follicle while leaving surrounding skin safer than older diode-only platforms. Our laser hair removal for dark skin guide explains the protocol.

Can I combine treatments in one visit?

Often, yes. Botox and a HydraFacial are commonly combined. Laser hair removal can pair with a chemical peel on different areas. We confirm what is safe at your consultation.

Is parking included?

Yes. Park North has free surface parking right in front of our building.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee, especially on longer appointments such as CoolSculpting and full-face filler.

Do you offer financing?

We accept Cherry and Care Credit. Both let you pre-qualify online without affecting your credit score.
